Last night was… interesting? We had 2 Bakko pops lined up that we were going to low-man. Sabene BRD, Darce PLD, Carste NIN, Onedarkflame BLM, Anderoc BLM, Zerayla RDM, Falk WHM, Athoz THF. Our first pop wiped us at 3%, which was devastating, because we lost the pop and we didn’t have RR on anybody… For the 2nd pop, we swapped Sabene (Brd) and Anderoc (Blm) so they swapped jobs. (Sabs on BLM, Anderoc on BRD), and we were able to kill Byakko the 2nd time. Also, I changed to SAM and I think I did 2x better damage than I was doing on BLM. Although, I did die at the very end when I got excited and 2hr’d and tried to kill it, and forgot to Segian Third Eye…. All good fun though.

After Byakko, I started doing some Wings of the Goddess missions and quests, which were fustrating, because I didn’t remember where I was in those. Eventually, I did enough cutscenes to get to the point where I would be able to kill something. I traveled to Jugner Forest [s] and popped NM Fingerflincher Dradzad. It was a easy kill on BLM, and I even stole a crab from the surrounding areas to aspir since it wasn’t hitting me very hard. The NM had little to no resistance to gravity and I just took it back to the zone and DOT’d it and nuked going back and forth between the zones.

A productive night, but I still need D. Legs and Darce still needs Byakko Haidate, so I’m assuming we’ll be farming up in Sky again soon.

The weeeekend post!

I had no playtime on Friday. So my post will begin with Saturday. Also, for some reason I can't get the pictures to post, so this one won't have any. Sorry all. i'll upload when I get home

My day began with a ENM run with Falk, doing Spire of Vazhal again. This time, it literally took us 5-10 minutes to get there, which was a huge improvement. Also, WE WON. We didn’t win the high gil item, but still, that was my first win at that ENM as a duo, so I was happy. We did have a little trouble getting into the promy zone though, when we aggro’d a few mobs on and near the elevator. We didn’t die, but came kinda close. It was really wild how I would be smacking them one second, and they would disappear the next, only to be crit hitting me from somewhere unseen.

 

After the ENM, Falk convinced me to manaburn with his lolRDM in Pso’Xja. It was pretty crappy exp. Falk got about 6k before we stopped, running at about 2k/hr for the majority of the time.


After the lolmanaburn, I joined some LS mates for a ISNM3000 Jade Sepulcher. I think I got about 45k from my drops, but this was a new event for me, so it was nice to get some experience from it… Even if I did have to put up with Tone. Tone, for those of you who don’t know, is a moron. He cussed me out one time when I went to PL a friend who was in a party with him, while he was on BRD. He refused to pull unless I stopped healing the party members, who were constantly dropping down to below 50%, and they had obvious downtime waiting for the in-party mage to /heal. He’s very prideful, and stubborn and stupid. Even during the ISNM, I asked for Mages Ballad, since I didn’t have it during the battle, and rather than casting it, he said “Meh, you don’t need it.” A stupid fucker for sure. Someone died during that run btw due to me not having mp. Anyway, on with the post.



Earlier in the day, I had notice a NM in Yuhtunga Jungle that I wanted to kill because it droped a 300k item that I could sell. But when I got back into the zone a few hours later someone had killed it, or it had wondered so far that I couldn’t find it.

I’m not sure what I was doing between then and Limbus, so I’m not going to write about it.

Limbus was, well.. Limbus. Lots of nuking and aspiring and stunning. Although, this time a Diabolic Silk (BLM) did drop, although I did lose the lot to Sabene. I’m glad it was her I lost to, because she’s been pretty seriously wanting to upgrade her BLM, and I’m happy to see her do it, because she really enjoys that job. The run ended with each member getting 3 coins. Also, I didn’t die this time :D



After Limbus, was the long awaited KIRIN RUN! Carste was going to be popping his set tonight, so I geared up SAM in all it’s unnecessary sets and warped to sky in a hurry! I was excittted. We all made it into the correct room quite smoothly. We had 15 people. We popped it and it seemed to be going quite well, if you ask me, until Byakko popped and our non-kiting PLD Zerayla died. D: At this point, I decided to try and tank it with my damage reduction set and my Seigan Third eye… Yeah that didn’t work, but I did manage to hold it for few seconds while people were able to wail on it. I died, rather quickly. I was raised and I meditated, and ran in to try and help end the fight with a Gekko.. Yeah that didn’t work either. I took hate instantly and died again, while he was at 5% or so. Meanwhile, Carste, who had somehow managed to take hate on Kirin, was trying to keep kiting it while Timwakefield, the PLD who was supposed to be kiting, was trying to take hate. Carste died, and then gave the order for us to quickly wipe. So we could sac it and regroup. Sadly, the WHM’s were a little slow getting out a raise to someone so they could sac it and Kirin Depopped. I felt horrible, because I know it cost quite a bit of gil to pop Kirin, and now it was wasted. Everyone went off to sulk, and I went to bed.





The next morning, I decided to finally finish what I had wanted to do quite a long time ago, UNLOCK AND LEVEL PLD!!!! I quickly rushed through all the prerequisite quests and finally unlocked it! I ran as fast as SE would allow me to the shops and bought some level 1 gear and a sword, bow and some arrows and went to kill some stuff! I probably should have subbed BST so I could kill 2 mobs at once, but I wanted the full experience, so I went with PLD/WAR and got to work on some worms. I was able to level for about a hour, and got to level 5 before it was time for my first run with my Dynamis shell. I showed up a hour early to the gather together time because I noticed a few of the leaders were already in Jeuno waiting. I re-geared BLM and warped to Jeuno. This shell is full of very polite and friendly people… not exactly what I’m used to. I don’t think I saw anyone swear even once.



Dynamis… holy crap.. dynamis… This is a long ass event. REAL LONG. 3.5hours. I had no idea it would be so long. It was pretty exciting at first, but after hour 2 I was beginning to wonder where these megabosses were, that were supposedly fun to kill. We did pop the megaboss, which wasn’t so mega, and wasn’t so hard. Playing BLM in that environment was certainly fun, and gave me a chance to test and play with some things. I still want to get my hands on a Sorcerer’s earring, which would have saved me both times I died during the event.


It took me a while to figure out who to ask within the shell about getting payouts from the excess gil that was farmed from the zone. Turns out, they don’t payout, and that the leader of the shell keeps it all for himself to upgrade relic or some shit. I’m not entirely thrilled about that, since all that is offered to the members for staying after the boss to farm is 1 extra point. I might try and find a different shell, or start losing sleep to run with a friend’s shell. I’d rather get some gil while lotting for gear. I’m not really wealthy within the game, and every little bit helps. We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks.


After Dynamis, it was PLD time again! Woooo! I went out in my Bronze gear for a while, and then was able to upgrade. I stayed up for quite a while playing on PLD until I hit level 10. I decided to get a buffer and ended up almost hitting 11 before I died to an air elemental. After that, I called it a night. The plan is to get my PLD caught up to Sabene’s DRK and to level up to subjob level with her together.

Last night was a fairly late login time for me, which resulted in me not doing a whole lot. I was supposed to login sooner in the evening, but my girlfriend, Brittany, came home from college a day earlier than she was suppose to, and surprised me. So I was overjoyed and we went out to dinner and the mall and had a little date. Unfortunately, this made me miss/forget my assault static, for the 2nd week in a row. ): So, I’d like to take this time to publically apologize to those members in my static who I have inconvenienced twice now. I’m going to start using my cell phone’s calendar to keep track of the events I have each week so I don’t forget them anymore. SORRY GUYS AND GALS.
After I got home from the mall around 10:00 I logged in and asked in /l if anyone needed any assistance. I got a few responses from people, but got a /tell from Athoz first asking to come down and help kill Sewer Syurp to help get Sabene her Jelly ring for standing set on BLM. They told me they had been in Bostanunieux Oubliette for a few hrs and were getting ready to wrap it up. I decided to head down anyway. Just about the moment I showed up Sewer popped. (: Gogo me!

It was a easy fight and Sabene got her Jelly ring. Congrats to her! Shortly after that she logged off… But Athoz and I weren’t done playing just yet… We decided to play with the Placeholders and try to get Manes to pop for some gil drops..

 We cleared the room and the tunnel of aggro’ing mobs and waiting for the PH’s to pop again, but instead of the PH, we got MANES! Awesomesauce.

It was a mildly difficult fight. I was on BLM, Athoz on THF, and Athoz had his WHM NPC with him. It was resistant to my Silence, but I did manage to Slow it. . .Manes started casting Sleepga II, so, like a good little Blm, I casted stun…. STUN WAS RESISTED lol, so we both got slept and he got beat on for a while. I got unslept just in time to cast 2 nukes, killing it. We got 2 Taffeta cloths, so we both took one.

Last night was fairly interesting. Since my blog post yesterday, I wanted to start with some of my CS’s for the missions that I was far behind on, so I started doing TOAU CS’s. Those things take for-fucking-ever. I did as many CS’s as I could before I got to a fight mission. The fight doesn’t look too hard, and says it can be done with as little as 2 people, so I might recruit someone to help me with that in the near future.


My friend Vepion asked in /linkshell if anyone wanted to lowman-Manaburn a Limbus zone, which I did want to do, but because of my obligations to I<3Caulk (My gay limbus shell) I can’t randomly do those. I am thinking of taking a small 1 week break and trying to solo some NW, or bring a friend or two.

After my CS’s, my friend Athoz started asking me about the new VNMs that were introduced. I hadn’t heard about them yet so he gave me the rundown on them. I was intrigued, so I started looking at the rewards and drops, and saw OMFG: Galdr Ring: 6INT Magic Attack bonus +1, holy shit, goodbye Snow Ring (not that I ever had one, but these are RA/EX and can’t be sold, so it means I CAN GET THEM). I decided to try one solo, not really caring if I wiped. I did some research and went to Passhow Marshlands[s] and figured out how to pop one NM. I did so, and it proceeded to resist bind, sleep and gravity, and I died.

So I found that Mindgrasp and one other person were doing these VNM’s already so I teamed up with them for a little while. We eventually figured out how to track the NM’s, and were quickly killing them. You don’t get the color change of your crystal each time you kill, it’s kinda like a drop rate, it might happen and it might not. Which is OK really, because these NM’s arent’ very hard.

After trying for 20mins or so, Mindgrasp and her friend needed to AFK for a while. I had noticed another small group doing the VNM’s so I asked if I could team up with them, and they let me. These two were killing pretty slowly, so my nukes were certainly helping. We also figured out this tidbit of information. The person to /heal on the NM spot, is the only person who will experience the crystal change. I’m not sure how many NM’s the other 2 people I was with had to kill, but it only took me, personally, once I teamed up with those random 2 people, 5 kills to get my Colorful crystal. It also appears that the color of your crystal after the Tier 1, will be determined on the zone you’re doing the NMs in. So I’m going to go forward with the Orange path.. I think it was orange that gives the Tier 3 NM that drops a item that will enhance Aspir/Drain, which would be awesome. And all the paths lead to the same Tier 4. So far Wiki says that the only thing it drops is the Galdr Ring, so I’m gonna be working towards that for the next couple days. I’m not really sure how hard the Tier II, III, IV NM’s are, but I’m assuming they’re difficult. These were actually a lot of fun, because my nukes seemed to do 35% more damage than they would to a regular mob. (I'm assuming it's 35% becuase puddings take 25% more, and this is more than that.) Resulting in damage looking like this:

On a side note. Of the new items that were introduced, there are a few items that interest me, as far as a Damage recution set are concerned. There is the Colossus's Earring: HP+10 MP+10 Physical damage taken -1% Light weather: Physical damage taken -2%. It’s only 1%, but that will end up putting SAM’s closer to the cap in the long run. Also, there was the Pagondas Earring: DEF10, which is normally something I would ignore, but in terms of Damage Reduction set, that 10DEF on a earring slot is major, in my opinion. However I am unsure of it it’s worth a slot in my 70 inventory. Now, there was this body piece Nocturnus Mail: DEF:49 STR+10 DEX+10 VIT+10 Accuracy+12 "Triple Attack"+1% Occasionally absorbs magic damage taken. The main reason I’m interested in this is because it absorbs damage. Now, this probably wouldn’t replace Arhat’s Gi +1 unless the proc rate on the absorb is pretty high, but it would be interesting to see some testing done on this. The 49 DEF and VIT10 would be a bonus for sure if it gave a decent proc rate. (Plus seeing Triple attack proc once in 3 years might be fun)

I’m interested in Aesir Torque: +20 Elemental magic skill +7 Dark magic skill +7 On Darksdays: Elemental magic skill +10 Dark magic skill +10, which would make me be able to put Elemental and Dark torque back on the AH. Seriously a space saver. These aren’t Ra/Ex though, so they’ll probably be really pricey at first. I’ll have to figure how what drops these and whatever, because I want to get my hands on one. Another BLM piece I want is the Incubus Earring: Magic Accuracy+2 Enmity+1, which is good for all enfeebles.

Sooner rather than later I would like to start building Magic damage reduction set. I see a few pieces here and there that make me go “Oh, that would be nice for MDR, if I had the space, or gil for such a thing, so I can stop dying to stupid spells.

Gonna update the Goals post as well today. Might write another post if I get bored in the afternoon!

My Gear, and Goals for the future!!

Alright, so the update has come and gone, and HOLY SHIT THERE ARE NEW ITEMS TO GEEEET. (Not that I even have a good portion of the good gear that was to be had before the update) There is some pretty sweet stuff, and I hope that SE is going to be expanding on the Gobbie bag quests, because there is too much stuff that I want to get, and too much stuff that I still need. So, I’m going to make a -small- list, and my small group of readers can help me make changes to it. :)

I’m still wanting this, because so far, I haven’t been able to find a cape that gives anything more than +5 Enfeebling Magic.
There are quite a lot of other peices I can buy, that will enhance the potential of my BLM, that I can't afford right now. I could upgrade a good portion of my BLM gear from NQ to HQ and things like that, get some +1's. I think the first upgrade I'm going to get is to take this

and trade it in for this

It's quite a bit of gil, but the +2 will help in the long run. I've been getting annoyed with my BLM getting resisted or partial resists on sleeps and gravity.

I've been considering joining a Dynamis shell to get some gear and some gil. We'll have to see how that works out for me..

There is also these that I'm needing to get, I almost have all the organs I need, just another hour or so farming and I should be able to get these. I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to manage my macros with them though, I do predict a total rewrite of all BLM macros in the near future.

 

There is also these, which I'm slowly working on getting to replace the Cobra unit feet.

And I'm going to be needing these in the distant future, for my HP pushdown, and so I can toss the ugly Vicious Mufflers. Carste and I were talking about farming and duoing Genbu, but I don't think we're gonna have very much time for that with all the new stuff that came out, and with my new list of goals

I'm going to wait until there are some photos of the new items up on Wiki before I start ranting about wanting those items. Being at work, makes this post kinda difficult, because I don't remember all the items I want by name, and I can't look them up because work blocks all those wiki-like sites. Kinda sucks.

I remember there were a couple pieces that I could get with Magic Accuracy on them, on slots where I didn't have Enfeebling magic already, but I guess I'm going to have to wait until I get home to check those again.

I would really really like this for my BLM standing gear, so I can get rid of my Black Cloak and can equip a headpiece for standing. Plus the Magic Defence Bonus wouldn't hurt either, since I'm usually getting hit with -ga spells.

I'm gonna stop naming these posts.

Last night was an alright night. It was the first time I was able to login since the update and sever merger. It didn’t really change my plans very much though. I still needed to rank up a few ranks for Campaign so I could get my Patronus ring for my SAM (and probably for my BLM standing set). That would equal 7% Damage reduction on my ring slots. So I went to work on SAM/WHM and started smacking stuff with my Hagun. I Was able to rank up after 2 battles, and I began working towards my next rank up and teamed up with Carste for some fun duoing campaign mobs on SAM, which didn’t really work out, since we now have tons of people doing campaign since the merger.

After Carste went AFK, I noticed Sabene had logged in. I messaged her and told her I had a pop to get her some Vicious Mufflers, and asked if she would be free to go kill that NM, which she was, and she recruited Athoz, her hubby THF, to come and poke it for us.

The fight went off without a hitch, Sabene was BLM/NIN, I was BLM/RDM (Accidentally, meant to go /nin) The NM went down quickly and Sabene was the proud owner of some Vicious Mufflers. These are awesome until you can get the Zenith Mitts from Sky, but once you get those, I’d suggest just tossing these, unless you have DRK leveled?

                         

It was Limbus time, and it was Omega…. Again…. How boring. I don’t particularly like Omega, because I don’t need any Homom gear from it. I’d like to skip Omega some day soon and try my hand at soloing a Limbus zone at some point for more Ancient Beastcoins, I still need quite a lot for my Brutal Earring and Loquacious Earring, and I think there was one other thing I was wanting, but I can’t quite remember. I don’t really expect to win a zone, but to at least walk away with 10 coins or so would be an awesome improvement, since we usually only get 3-5 coins when we farm zones. I’m not really wanting to buy the coins, because I’m kinda poor. I know, “Go farm” blah blah. Whatever, back to the limbus post… Carste got to tank again, and he had a hard-on for himself the entire time. I went /nin to stun the Gunpods when they spawned so that everyone else could take them down, since they spawn and run around wildly. The fight was again, easy. And the bids for the gear that dropped were extremely low, but people still won stuff.

Magic Burst Killshot FTW

After Limbus, I went to read the /shouts that were going on in Aht Urhgan Whitegate, and was checking bazzars. I’ve been on the hunt for a Sorcerer’s Earring for my BLM Standing set, which would put me well over the 50% cap when under 25% HP. I decided to put a post up on the QCDN.org website asking if anyone had one to sell. They are rarely on the AH, and when they are, they are quickly bought. While checking bazzars, I came across an Arhat’s Gi +1 for 500k, which was 100k less from the current AH price, so I messaged the guy and bought it, which brought my gil down to ~4k. The plan was to put it up on the AH for more than I bought it for and be richer when it sold… Well, I put it on the AH for about 580k, and when I checked this morning before going to work, someone had undercut the 600k sale down to 520k, and now mine is way outpriced… So I’m considering keeping it for my SAM DRS, since I was planning on upgrading those pieces eventually. If it comes back to me once or twice, I’ll probably just keep it and sell my NQ one.



I’m not going to have a lot of work to do today in the office, so I’m going to write up a post for my own amusement about my BLM, and what gear I want for it, and other things that I need to accomplish. (:

Weekend post

This is my weekend post. I don’t remember much of it, but thankfully I can piece it together with my screenshots.

On Saturday, I had Limbus again, and we had another Omega pop. I was a bit distracted during the fight, because I was trying to take care of my sick girlfriend at the same time. Basically, I usually just stun and nuke on BLM, and it’s a good time. We killed him no problem, as usual. This time we only used 1 tank, and it was Carste NIN/DRK. He was so excited to solotank Omega, he had multiple orgasms over it. We were able to farm the pods. And OMGWTF, Zerayla got some gear?! HOLYSHITYEAH! Grats to her. Lol, Here’s a screenie from the fight. This is the most people I’ve seen come to a Omega fight in my short limbus career.

Shortly after Limbus, I asked Falk if he was bored and wanted to do something fun. He of course, said yes. We decided to go kill the flying Dragon NM in Xarcabard [S] for some fun and possibly for some gil. We both geared /NIN and OP’d to the zone. I was first in zone, and it took me no time at all to find the NM, but I was uneasy about aggroing and holding it by myself without movement speed, so I decided to wait, and hope Falk got into zone quickly… which he didn’t. (My camera was in the wall)

By the time Falk showed up, the NM was nowhere to be seen. It took us roughly 20 minutes to finally aggro the fucking thing. We both ended up dying at least once trying to aggro the NM, and aggroing other mobs that we couldn’t sleep. We killed it by kiting and nuking around the Campaign tower.

It went down real easy with 2 of us. Nothing really of value, just a 70k item that we ended up splitting (that’s 35k each for those of you reading that can’t do math…. Steve…). It was a good time and now I have something to do on my BLM again, which is recap BLM buffer. I’m down 15k from cap!!! It’s a good excuse to help up-and-coming BLM’s get 75 in levelsyncs. Also, I made a friend!

The next day, I logged in around 130 in the afternoon, and decided to round up some people to do some ZNM’s. Falk and I had an Anantaboga pop that we needed to get out of the way so we could start farming our Tier 3’s. I apparently documented a lot of stuff today, so be prepared for lots of screenshots. I was able to ask Sabene and Athoz to come help us out, which was actually really good, because I think it might have gotten messy with just 2 people. We went out to Mt. Zhayolm and made our way to the pop site. It took Athoz forever to get into zone. He’s soooo slow. He couldn’t stop whacking off to Lightning from FF13 long enough to swap over to FF11 and login. (kidding.. maybe..) Anyway, when we finally got to the camp, and cleared the area of the Dahak’s, the fights went kinda smoothly… Minus the charming, and the lullaby’s.. and the deaths.. We only had deaths on the first pop, and it was Sabene (Sorry) and Athoz (Yay). The second pop went smoothly with no deaths, and I even got to aspir Athoz who was /WHM. :D lol

After the ZNM pops, Athoz and Sabene and Falk invited me to join the XP static they had going in the afternoon. It was hard to decide what job to bring, so I decided to bring something that would help the exp/hr and brushed the dust off my WAR36. I had almost NO gear for it whatsoever. Athoz and Sabene were able to supply me with some really good gear for the level. I was excited now! I had forgotten how fun gearing low level jobs were, and I had forgotten the joys of exp grinding. After I got all the gear for my WAR, I decided to finally do what I’ve been wanting to do for a long time.. Begin to unlock PLD. That’s right fuckers, watch out. ODF, the MPK King is going to…. Pld? I’ve been wanting to try my hand at it, so I began by doing the first preliminary quest, but didn’t have time to do the 2nd or 3rd. I really got the idea because I’ve been trying to build a tanking set on my SAM that doesn’t suck, and with limited gil it’s kinda hard. Also, Zerayla is usually forced into the PLD slot, when I know she probably wants to play her other jobs, so I’ve embarked on a stupid quest to level another job. My PLD will never ever be as good as Zerayla’s. But I can probably tank some easier stuff like Tier 3 ZNM’s and whatnot. Anyway, back to the blog.

We went out to East Ronfaure [S] for some real good, and fast exp. This was a great party for one reason and one reason only… SUBLIGAR!!!! Yeah, look at those sexy legs.

Now… Not only was my SAM/WAR gimped because I was 36.. But my WAR was gimped because my Great Axe Skill was 71 when I started in the party… So there was lots of Squid Sushi +1 being used. I even spent a little gil and got an ACC necklace for the party. I started out by missing a lot, and hitting for 20’s. By the end of the pt, I was hitting for 80’s. What a big difference it makes! We were getting OK exp, about 11k/hr., and by the time I hit 101 Great Axe skill, we were sitting around 15-16k/hr. We invited a BRD that was lfg. (Who refused to pull because Colibri hit too hard and he’s a pussy.) So Falk who was RDM/SCH at first was pulling. He later died and switched to /Nin, and was pulling like a champ. Also, Sabene and Athoz kept level-uping together. So cute. *Barf*.

The exp pt lasted from my level 36, to level 41. Not bad for one afternoon. Except for one little thing, the party was excellent. The BRD leveled up and disbanded right after. He was unwilling to stay for 3-4 more kills (5 minutes tops) so that 2 others could get their level because he capped EXP. I’m never inviting him to anything ever again.
So the party ended, but Zerayla still has a bit more time on her NIN to get it to the new 49 subjob cap.

After the party, I asked if anyone would be interested in helping with a Tier 3 ZNM that I was wanting to pop, Khromasoul Bhurborlor. I got some responses and began rounding up those people into a party. I asked Zerayla to PLD for us, and I would backup tank on SAM/NIN if she went down. We ended up getting way more people than necessary, and one member couldn’t even make it to the fight fast enough to do any damage to the mob. We pulled it from the pop site, to the Halvung entrance.

The only trouble we had with it was around 10%. Zerayla went down, and I did everything I could to stay alive. I was able to hold onto it until it died, but right as it was going down, it did something to me and down I also went. That’s OK though. Gives me more reason to play on SAM to revamp my buffer on it. It’s getting pretty low. Khromasoul dropped Enkidu Subligar, which went to Athoz, who has helped me with all my tier 1’s and 2’s lately. So congrats to him! This was my first time really tanking anything on SAM, and it’s clear I need some practice and some better Damage reduction gear.

After Khromasoul, Rockten asked for some help with Cheesehoarder. We had plenty of people to kill it, but it very nearly killed us first. >.< ODF KILLSHOT!

After Cheesehoarder, I went to work on my Allied Notes and my Campaign medal, so that I could get a Patronous (sp) ring, to add to my Damage reduction set, and hopefully get some stuff from campaign that I could sell and possibly upgrade some of my other items with the gil. Also, there is an update today, which is supposedly going to contain some new campaign gear to be released, so I am hoping to be able to get some new stuff that would benefit some of my jobs.

Today is also the day Midgar is merging with us… So I’m sure we’re going to see some weird stuff in the coming weeks…

I haven’t had a ton of time to play this week. My girlfriend is home for spring break and I would rather spend time with her. Sorry guys. Lol, Here is the update from the one night I spent at home so far this week.

I signed in the other night to play for a short period of time before my girlfriend came over, and decided to do some zeni farming. It took me about 15 minutes to actually be able to obtain 14 empty slots in my inventory for the soultrapper, and soulplates. You know, for all the time I spend zeni farming, I still use the 2 zeni items instead of wasting Imperial Standing or my time getting good soulplates to battle with and earn zeni.

I decided the best place to farm zeni on Birds was in Sky, so I headed to Tele-Holla (It’s the only sky-warp I have activated at the moment). It didn’t take me very long to get the birds down to 1%, and it was easy to do as BLM/WHM without gravity. I filled up my inventory and killed the bird and warped back to Whitegate. 77zeni/soulplate, not too horrible, It could be worse. Unfortunately, when I got back to trade the soulplates in, the day had just changed, and it only took me 15 minutes to get the soulplates, so there was going to be about 30-40minutes of downtime from my next farming trip and the next time I could trade in.

I decided to go out for a run, and didn’t get back until around 9:00. I decided to do another zeni farming session. This time, I stole Zerayla and Falk and helped them get zeni.

 After we finished, Falk asked if I would do a ENM with him… Sure why not? I ask which one, and he tells me it’s the Spire of Vahzl . While waiting for Falk to turn in all his zeni, I go about trying to find my SAM gear.. I haven’t been on Samurai in over a month, so my gear is all over the place. Not to mention, I have to sub WAR, and one day while I was in a hurry, I used WAR to bloodwarp myself from Norg, and I deleveled it to 36, so every time I SAM/WAR I have to /anon to avoid /laugh. ( Anyway, after a while of hunting I’m finally geared, I have my meat and my Anima, and about 9 empty slots, and we’re good to go!

We OP to Beaucidine Glacier, and at this point, I have no idea what we’re doing. I’ve never done an ENM besides the 2 Hagun runs I did. Falk assures me he knows the way, and it won’t take more than 10mins to get to where we are going.

From there we entered Pso’Xja. Now remember. 10 minutes. We enter Promy Vahzl, and start making our way towards idontknowhere. Falk decides to aggro a mob. We kill it with ease. It was one of those little ones. Falk aggros another mob, this time, a big motherfucker.

We both die. After we unweaken, we keep making progress towards our goal.. but wait… “ We’re on the wrong floor… my bad” …. So.. 20minutes later…. We’re still running… and running…. And running… and eventually we get there. I’ve been popping Hi-ethers out of a tank while we were running in unrestricted areas. Once we get to the door for the ENM, I pop a few more out, so that we both have 4.

Falk says that’s plenty, and he tells me the stragety, and we enter, and quickly wipe. So lets recap. 30minutes of running, wasting falk’s gil and hi-potion tank, and no gil… Another successful night for the adventurer’s of SpiritOfTheWolf Linkshell!
