Update time!! I’m not 100% sure on what we’ve been killing, or doing.. Considering most of it takes place around midnight, and I’m not the night-owl I used to be, so all I pay attention to is: Yellow HP, cure 5… Red HP, Cure 6.. “haste me nigger”. This is mostly due to the fact that my girlfriend is home from college, so the only playtime I get is while she’s sleeping. Not too many screenshots have been taken in the last 20 days, most because every time we fight something worth mentioning, I can’t take my fingers off the cure macro’s to hit screenshot.

I’ve been progressing towards my Masamune in bursts. I’ve finally gotten out of the “wait x hours for spawn” NM’s and am now on the VNM’s. Specifically Urd -> Lamprey Lord. Carste and Zerayla are still hours and hours ahead of me in their weapons, but I’m working on mine every chance I get… also having less play time is a disadvantage, but I’m just glad to be out of the timer spawn NM cycle. Not looking forward to Chesma though.

We finally got all the wins in Abyssea we needed to be able to infuse 3 atma instead of 2. I’m still not sure what to equip for my 3rd one. The refresh +10 from MM is usually more than enough to cover almost everything we do… an extra MND atma would go to waste since I’m nearly 100% capped on MND most of the time.. Obviously the correct choice is to get a MAB atma for my Holy spam.

We did our Proto-Omega with Buckeyespud, and only got feet. Successfully 5manned it, and could have just as easily 4manned it, or trio’d with difficulty. I’m glad we were able to give buck-o a nice send off into the realm of faggotry known as FFXI-2. We’ll be doing more Limbus soon I imagine. People still need things from there and it’s fun!

Some Misareaux action, farming some leg seals that people still needed.

Some old friends, Drimergirl and Soulstar have returned to the game, although I don’t think we’ll be seeing much of them. They’ve decided to start their own linkshell for their RL friends, who many of our members don’t exactly get along with. It’s probably for the best, and I wish them well. They have a LOT to get caught up on.

After weeks of me telling Carste that killing Jailer of Prudence could be done easily, we 4manned it. We could have probably Trio’d it, NIN, WHM, Something else. We had a few stupid deaths from the non-essential members, so it could probably be duo’d. Was so easy, we did it twice.

6manned Jailer of Love like some noobs. Although, full drops!! Novio for Carste, Novia for me, Torque to Carste.(that reminds me that I haven’t traded in my Novia.. that’s really going to fuck over my enmity + build for WHM,(an afterthought, I’ve been considering an evasion build for my SAM, and this is an excellent addition)) However we did wipe to AV. Fucking noobs, I can’t believe I play with these people.

Topler fucked us over quite a bit by being 5-6 seconds late on Thundaga III every time JOL spawned pets. I do have to say that Enmity Douse is an amazing JA, and makes this fight cake.

We’re going to be leveling WHM and BRD on Buck, and getting rid of all his shit garbage on his account. First up will be WHM, he needs 2 levels on it to be able to leech in Abyssea, so we’ll spam some Emperor Rings on him and probably find some way to get a party on him.. That’s going to be quite a lot of gil for spells now that I think about it. Thankfully, he won’t need much gear to be a decent WHM.. We won’t get him to ODF’s standard, but as long as his Cure 5 isn’t 700 HP, we’ll be happy.

(Carste needs to level WHM too, because LolRDM can’t mainheal abyssea with Cure4)

We spent the other night in Abyssea – LaTheine spamming Onvi. We got the Atma, and Abyssite for those who needed it, and spammed it until all applicable people had their Augur’s Jaseran. (: I wasn’t actually planning on helping with this fight, but when I heard Vepion and Zerayla were going to attempt to duo it, I recruited Athoz (And buckfag) and we went out to kill it. It probably could have been duo’d, but they would have had to kill it a lot more than we did with our full pt of people to get the drops they were wanting.

Got my first looks at the Hero’s areas. (yes, I bought the expansion) They’re cool, and we have too much shit to do in them to mention here. Lots of farming coming up, and lots of hours spent slamming our heads against the same NM’s.

So, since I got the expansion, we fought Shinryu. This is by-far the coolest battlefield in the game. He’s kinda a pain in the ass, until you brew him. Got some sweet drops, as you can see. I loot-whored the drops and stole the cape and torque. Hellllo 5% PDT/MDT! Very nice. Oh yeah, now we have access to 200k brews.. which means we’ll be curor farming, and at the same time, leeching Buck-o on WHM, so I can fulltime SAM. I’d love to get Twilight Mail for my SAM. The Acc+ will help on all my STR pieces with ACC-245135234 on them.

I’ve been doing Campaign (lol) lately when there’s nothing else to do. Still need my Rose Strap for my 5hit build. I’m working on slowly building up my SAM stuff while working on Masamune. Need 4-5 more Balance Jewel’s still, but we’ll get those once we need to spam Criein-crion for my lanterns.

Looking forward to fighting Chloris, as I’d love to get my hands on these gloves.

Awesome for my Enhancing build and I could probably get rid of my Blessed Mitts for my Cure macro.

Still needing my Goading belt, but not any time soon. I’m still rocking a Headlong belt, I’m fucking terrible at this game.

Also, getting these pants would make me super happy and would actually free up 2(maybe 3) inventory!
