Time for the What-I-Did-This-Weekend post!

I started out my Friday evening with wrapping up my Wings of the Goddess Mission Static! Now we’re all set to start the new missions when they come out and access the new areas! The final fight got a little tough towards the end and I died due to a stoneskin accident, but we were able to salvage the fight and get the win.

After the fight, Carste and I set out to cap our BLM buffers in anticipation of the new level cap… sadly we weren’t the only ones with this idea, and the majority of the camps were full. We were able to camp some Dahaks though, and kill Wamoura Princes.. sadly we got sloppy and got killed by one of the Dahaks. On our way back to the camp, we saw the pudding camp was pretty empty so we blew stuff up there for a while.

I was finally able to get enough coins for my Loquacious Earring. I’m unsure if I want to fulltime it on BLM, or swap in my other INT+1 MP+8.. I’ll probably sell the earring and fulltime the Loquacious. The Loquacious is something I’ve been needing for my WHM for a long time. 30MP + Fastcast = Hot.

Saturday night I went over to my friend Roy’s house (Marvolo) to play with him. We were going to work on getting Touchstone, himself and myself our AF for RDM’s… We spent about a hour farming The Eldieme Necropolis Coffer keys (2 of them) and took forever finding the coffer.. When we did finally find it, I decided to let Touchstone open it first since I could come back down here and find it myself later.. Turns out Touchstone had the BLM hands quest active, and opening the coffer on RDM did nothing for him except give him 6k gil. Lots of wasted time, but these things happen, especially in this game where the names of some quests are so similar. I would be lying if I said I’d never done anything like that. Shout-out to Sjoidjgo (falk) for his patience in helping us with these coffer keys, Thanks man.

After the failed coffer, we decided it was time to take a break before Marvolo and Touchstone canceled their content ID’s. After they got their urge to play again, I set up a exp pt for Marv’s THF, Touchstone’s WHM, and my PLD. Touchstone ended up leaving early to go home but Marv and I stayed until we got our levels.

I went back the next day to The Eldieme Necropolis and got my AF hands after tracking down the coffer.

Did a couple (5) Kirin’s with AbsolutePerfection. These guys really know what they’re doing.

Did a failed Nyzul run.

Went up to Ru’Aun Gardens with Midgetking to help him kill the Eraser to augment a Warewolf belt… but we failed due to Eraser having Additional effect Silence when he hit us. We got pretty close (1 more nuke) but we both got silenced and neither of us had echo’s and we couldn’t kite it long enough to let the effect wear off. Felt bad about this, since I assured him I would be able to solo it for him. I’ll buy him another Warewolf Belt. I should have had echo drops with me.

Since I had some Imperial Standing again, I joined a ISNM 3000 run and won another Khroma ore! I think that makes me 3/6-7? I’ll have to look back at my posts and see.

After my ISNM, Absolute Perfection was gathering for Jailer of Faith and I was asked to WHM, so I geared up, and grabbed this off the AH so I could keep people alive better with my Barstonra.

I went to upper jeuno and got the pop item’s from Cloudxz’s mule, and went to sea to wait. Just about the moment I got there Cloud says /l we’re not doing faith anymore. And he logs out…. Weird? Maybe a emergency. Hopefully nothing bad.
